Milsted Langdon is one of the UK’s Top 100 accountancy firms operating in multiple offices around the South of England. Their recent take up of open plan office space on the second floor of Freshford House, in the centre of Bristol, gave them (and us) the perfect opportunity to create something new to appeal to both staff and visitors alike.
The new Bristol office is a flagship within the Milsted Langdon group.
After a pitch process, Amarelle were appointed at an early stage to design and build Milsted Langdon’s new office. The new office boasts picturesque views overlooking St Mary Redcliffe and the harbourside. This prime location demanded a professional, corporate and clean look.
With all this in mind, the key objectives were to create a workplace that brought the 30 year old accountancy practice into the 21st century with agile working areas, the potential for hot desking and communal breakout space.
The new space features three agile and communal working spaces designed to bring teams together in an informal way. We also built eight executive offices and three meeting rooms, an open plan main office accommodating more than 55 staff, a large conference room and an inviting bespoke reception desk and waiting area that made the most of the views.
We also relocated a six metre roller racking system to give the firm the necessary archiving capability. We even created custom artwork of iconic Bristol landmakrs for key areas around the space!
The 6 week build has produced a space that Milsted Langdon are extremely proud of. It embraces their new working methods and culture, and it’s injected new life into the companies offering to its employees.
