Phased Furniture Installation
Towards the end of last year we were given the opportunity to tender for a large furniture project in Bristol. The works included clearing the existing floor space of all existing furniture and then supplying and installing new office furniture for almost 300 users – this included desks, storage, hot boxes, power modules, monitor arms, etc., as well as meeting room furniture and breakout furniture. We supplied and installed poseur height trestle tables, arm chairs, coffee tables, bar stools and some striking upholstered meeting pods which along with the brightly coloured desk screens, gave the space a blast of colour. They also gave the client a more agile working space allowing colleagues the opportunity to step away from their desks whilst continuing to work.
The works were split into two phases – Phase 1 involved the installation of new furniture and the relocation of 112 colleagues; Phase 2 involved the installation of new furniture and the relocation of 172 colleagues. We completed each phase successfully, each within a 10 day programme.
