This weekend, we were lucky enough to enjoy some corporate hospitality courtesy of Bristol Sport Foundation. Charlotte, Rhys and Alasdair were joined by Deborah Bryant-Pearson from RICS to enjoy an epic showdown between London Irish and Bristol Bears at the Ashton Gate stadium. We were treated to a marvellous roast lunch followed by a glorious game which ended with a final score of 44-27 to the Bears. Lunch was followed by a Q&A session with Bristol Sport Foundation’s Chief Community Officer and former Bears and Chiefs player Ben Breeze who gave us an interesting insight into how new players are recruited. We also learnt about Bristol Sport’s local community outreach programme and how the charity help all generations to participate in sport and well-being.

With our hearts and bellies full after a great game and a great day, we had the opportunity to present a cheque for £2,259 to Bristol Sport which was raised earlier this year during the Amarelle-sponsored RICS Rugby Sevens tournament. We were delighted to have raised such a substantial sum for Bristol Sport and it was a great chance to reminisce about the summer and talk about next year’s event which is looking like a sure thing for late May 2020. See you next year at Cotham Park!

A huge thank you to Paul Glanville, Ben Breeze and Craig Capel for their hospitality.

Below are the winners of the RICS Rugby Sevens Tournament, congratulations to MACE.
