With creative space planning we were able to provide sufficient workspaces with additional desks for the growing team to expand into.

Amarelle’s design team came up with a bright, new open-plan scheme that addressed the company’s need for more meeting rooms and a more professional looking main entrance and working area.

New internal meeting rooms were fitted with glazed fronts and feature bulkhead detail, with brand colours represented on both the walls and floors. One-person acoustic booths were installed to be used as focussed working points and touch down points for private phone calls. A customised fully-upholstered booth was designed and built in situ to create an informal meeting area, fully equipped with AV facilities.

Welfare facilities for the staff were a key part of the brief, which asked for shower facilities and locker space where they could keep their personal belongings, with staff and visitor coat storage tucked out of sight to keep the office area sleek and tidy at all times.

With the need to accommodate new team members, the large, radial desks were replaced with a modular desking system and shared storage solutions were installed with the double purpose of providing privacy screening between desks.

A client facing meeting suite was crucial to the entire scheme, and it provided a real impact. Re-using the existing partitioning system and doors, Amarelle were able to significantly upgrade the area with feature lighting, new flooring and an impressive reception desk. We managed to create an additional front of house meeting room in a space that had previously looked cramped and lacked identity. Kitchen facilities were included, providing easy servicing of the meeting rooms and extensive food preparation and serving areas.

The scheme was delivered snag free in 12 weeks, over three phases, while the clients were still in occupation. Our move management teams worked outside normal hours in order to create working areas that Savills staff could occupy during the installation process with minimal disruption of day-to-day business.
